Visits to London can enhance topics within the curriculum at all levels and many of the attractions in London do not charge to enter e.g. Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Imperial War Museum and many others. However, some attractions that do charge the public give reduced entrance for Educational Visits for example the Tower of London. http://www.hrp.org.uk/howtobookeducationattoweroflondon
I can help you arrange a visit to many of these attractions and also guide the pupils around the attraction.Work sheets can be arranged.
If you travel outside of the main rush hour you can obtain free travel on some of the main Rail Networks. This helps reduce the cost for the trip. You need to check your local network http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/14311.aspx. If you are travelling on the train I can meet you at the attraction or at the rail station.
If you are travelling from outside London and have hired a coach, I can join the coach at a convenient place and take you on a tour of the City showing the pupils the sites they may have read about or seen on Television.
After the coach tour I can then show you the attraction that will be the main focus for the day. The tour is tailored made to fit in with your requirements.
Many Place have lunch room facilities for school parties, however weather permitting I can suggest other suitable places for the children to eat their lunch.
